Chapter II is being implemented in the academic year 2022-23. It will focus on the Byzantine/post-Byzantine and Ottoman years, and the points of departure for the educational activities will be the medieval Fortress of Myrina and related landmarks.
Furthermore, this Chapter introduces the aspect of the natural environment of Lemnos, getting to know local products and producers, but also contact with civil society initiatives that deal with their promotion.
In addition, the participating students will become familiar with digital tools and basic principles of artistic photography in order to create alternative “narratives” of their experience in the program, which will in turn be presented in a group visual and multimedia exhibition, open to residents and visitors of the island.
